There are many fraternal or religious Orders, as well as those based upon profession, which bring people together based on their common aims and pursuits. Human beings are communal and social by nature, so any work or path can be more fulfilling when one does not have to walk alone.
In general, an Order is a structure — both visible and invisible — which acts as a means of unification for people of like aspirations. The essence of an Order is its emotive or psychic quality: the warmth of a familial sense of brotherhood and sisterhood. An Order is suffused with the friendship and feeling that exists among people with a common purpose, and an order provides a nourishing atmosphere of acceptance.
The first “order” we encountered upon our arrival on earth was our family — though we did not call it an order. Still, it was our first order — a structure through which we received the nourishment for our growth. The Order of the Lily and Eagle also provides the means to gain the nourishment necessary for one’s development — one’s psychological and spiritual development.
The Order of the Lily and Eagle is a spiritual and fraternal order. It gives each member the opportunity not only to connect with others of like aspirations, but also to connect with that part of oneself which is real.
The goal of the Order of the Lily and the Eagle is for its members to become strong and free, so that they may benefit others. This benefit applies to all levels of our being: physically, to help those in need (charity); emotionally, to provide the means for exchanges that nourishes friendship and understanding (fraternity); and spiritually, to provide access to that which is true (enlightenment).
The Order of the Lily and the Eagle opens a spiritual and fraternal path leading to a new consciousness - one that begins individually within oneself, and then spreads to embrace others in humanity.
